Sustainability
We run our farm eco-friendly, so we don’t use any artificial fertilizers or chemicals. During the past 15 years we have planted hundreds of (fruit)trees at our ranch. We try to reuse waste as much as possible and we use solar panels for hot water. Of course all our animals are very well looked after by us and our dedicated staff
Cottages
The cottages at the ranch are spacious and beautifully decorated with regional handicrafts. All cottages have attached toilet/shower and a veranda overlooking the farm. We provide excellent meals, mostly prepared from organic vegetables grown at our farm.
Things to do
The ranch is the best place to just relax and enjoy the peace and fresh air. We have a library with books and games for you to borrow. The farm is a great place for bird watching as well.
Krishna Ranch is an excellent starting point for short- and long walks to the nearby villages and the surrounding mountains. Tigerlake, Monsoon-palace and Shilpgram(ethnic open air museum) are all at walking distance. We will provide you with a simple map of the area. If you are planning to do a longer walk you can take one of our tasty packed lunches for a pick-nick on the way. If you want to see the more remote parts of the Arravalis you can book one of our guided treks.
Of course you can also book one of our professionally guided horse-safaris to explore the country-side surrounding the ranch.
If you want to visit Udaipur-city, this is possible. You can book transportation to town at any time. The ranch is just a 20 minute drive from Udaipur-city.
Packages for groups
We offer special packages for schools and groups upto 25 people including overnight stay at the ranch, all meals, riding lessons, horse-rides and treks.
